AGM and Election of Officers
The first meeting of the All Party Group post-election took place on the 14 June 2010.
The first meeting of the All Party Group post-election took place on the 14 June 2010. The Rt Hon Nick Raynsford MP was unanimously re-elected to continue as Chair of the group.
The other officers were also unanimously elected:
- Vice-Chair, Lord Chidgey
- Vice-Chair, Graham Brady MP
- Vice-Chair, Naomi Long MP
- Treasurer, Lord Berkeley
- Secretary, Mark Garnier MP
The group approved the proposed programme which included an infrastructure funding discussion on the 8th July 2010 in the House of Commons. Proposals to work with the Associate Parliamentary Sustainable Resource Group on a sustainable resource management and with other all party groups on the subject of Flood Management were also welcomed.
