All-Party Infrastructure Group tours Crossrail route

APPG Members embarked on a tour of the Crossrail across central London with Crossrail Chief Executive Keith Berryman.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Infrastructure (APPGI) completed a tour of the Crossrail route in order to give parliamentarians a first-hand view of the impact the project will have in the capital.

Led by Crossrail Director, Keith Berryman, a select group of MPs and Lords from the APPGI visited tube stations across London to see how they are to be developed during the project.

Nick Raynsford MP said: "Crossrail is such an important civil engineering project for London and it's great to get a feel, first hand, for how it will impact on the city. In particular, it was very valuable to see the complexities and challenges involved in each of the central London stations sites.

"The APPGI has a busy calendar of site visits and debates this year and we couldn't have had a better start to the programme."
